Psychology in Transplantation

On the 6 November 2009 King’s Health Partners and SIGOPAC hosted a one day event at the St James’s Institute of Oncology, Leeds, of joint thinking around the role, scope and aims of psychological support services in haematological transplantation. The event consisted of presentations and workshops, and gave specialist health professionals in the field the opportunity to share best practice.

Finally, we also now have the (anonymised) results of our survey of the 50+ participants on the day , 24 of whom responded to the survey with details of the provision of psychological support services at their Unit. These may be best interpreted with reference to the survey form.
