The Joint Clinical Trials Office (JCTO) is set up to provide a single interface for those wishing to conduct clinical trials within the partner institutions, and to ensure there are common, efficient processes for the set up and administration of clinical trials. The JCTO includes clinical quality management and a training function to ensure common high standard processes are met across the partner institutions and that all staff involved in clinical research are fully trained in prevailing best clinical research practices.
