I am pleased to see that our staff continue to recommend Guy’s and St Thomas’ as a place to work and as a place to be treated. The Staff Friends and Family Test is an important snapshot of how our staff feel about working here and the services the Trust provides.

Sally Storey, Director of HR Organisational Development and Educational Development at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, added:

It’s really encouraging that so many colleagues would recommend our trust as a place to work. We have recently invested substantially in staff health and wellbeing with the launch of three new services in June. Similarly, I’m reassured by the number of staff who said they would recommend the trust for treatment. Work is being undertaken across the trust to embed our quality improvement programme so I’m optimistic our standard of care will continue to improve.

Dawn Brodrick, Executive Director of Workforce at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, said:

We are pleased with our latest set of results from the Friends and Family Test; a  record number of staff completed the survey, and our results improved with more staff saying they would recommend King’s College Hospital as a place to be treated and as a place to work.

All trust senior teams will be reviewing the results and using them to identify ways to make improvements to staff’s working experience.
