The Programme Board oversees the long-term sustainability of the Institute and evaluates, approves and enables plans developed by the Institute’s Executive Group.
Dr Sheila Shribman chairs the Institute's Programme Board and is also a Non-Executive Director at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and Chair of the Evelina London Children’s Hospital Board.
The Executive Group develops and coordinates delivery of the Institute’s strategy and responsible for the activities of the Institute’s standing committees. The Group includes representation from our partners.
Standing committees include:
- Research Committee - co-chaired by Prof Cath Williamson, Professor of Women’s Health at Kings College London and Honorary Consultant in Obstetric Medicine at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Trust, and Prof Gideon Lack, Professor of Paediatric Allergy at King’s College London and Head of the Children’s Allergy Service at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust.
- Education and Training Committee - chaired by Prof Anne Greenough, Director of Education and Training at King’s Health Partners and Professor of Neonatology and Clinical Respiratory Physiology at King’s College London.
- Patient, Parent and Public Involvement and Engagement Committee - this committee has three co-chairs representing maternal, women’s and children’s health.
