Joe Casey appointed as our first Director of Partnerships and Programmes

King’s Health Partners is delighted to announce that Joe Casey has been appointed as the new Director of Partnerships and Programmes for our Academic Health Sciences Centre.

JospehCasey 2020 photo updateJoe Casey [pictured right] has worked with King’s Health Partners for over five years, initially in a consulting capacity before becoming Deputy Director for Programme Delivery over three years ago. He has now been appointed into a new role as King's Health Partners Director of Partnerships and Programmes, where he will lead on the implementation of our new five-year plan and further expand our national and international partnerships.

Speaking about the appointment, Prof Richard Trembath, Executive Director of King’s Health Partners, said:

I am thrilled to announce Joe Casey as our new Director of Partnerships and Programmes. Joseph has been an incredible driving force in King’s Health Partners in recent years and his experience and skills will be hugely beneficial to us as we seek to implement our five-year plan and ensure that we can deliver better health for all through high impact innovation.

After a particularly rigorous process, we are delighted to confirm Joe appointment to this new role. His work in launching the King's Health Partners Value Based Healthcare programme more than sets him up to succeed in launching our new delivery programme for the King’s Health Partners five-year plan and cementing our local, national and international relationships. I know many staff across the partners and stakeholders will be delighted to hear of Joe’s appointment and will look forward to continuing working with him.

Joe will assume his new role on the 2 November 2020.
