Sir Simon Stevens joins 20m double jabbed against COVID-19

The NHS chief Sir Simon Stevens received his second jab at Guy’s and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and praised the work and dedication of staff and volunteers in rolling out the NHS COVID-19 vaccination programme. Pharmacy Business reported he also urged people to get their second dose when the time comes to ensure they get maximum protection from the virus.

Video messaging app helps families feel closer to premature babies

The vCreate app is used on Evelina London’s neonatal intensive care unit to keep families in touch with their babies. BBC London TV News interviewed Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust consultant neonatologist Dr Geraint Lee and Lucy and Grant, parents of Gracie on the app. The story was turned into a piece for the BBC News website and BBC Radio London and BBC Oxford also ran a piece on the story, interviewing Dr Siobhan Jacques.

The UK’s first Covid-19 vaccine study for pregnant women is set to launch.

Around 235 women will be given the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine or a placebo in the study, which is taking place at 11 hospital sites including Guy's and St Thomas' and King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Tust, as covered by Herald Scotland
