Professor Richard Trembath

Richard is Executive Director of King's Health Partners. Working with the Board and Executive Board, he sets the direction and focus of the partnership. He is also Senior Vice President & Provost (Health and Life Sciences) at King’s College London.

Richard is an internationally renowned clinician scientist through his work in human and medical genetics. He has been:

• a former National Institute for Health Research Senior Investigator and Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences;
• the Vice Principal for Health and Executive Dean of the School of Medicine and Dentistry at Queen Mary University London;
• the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine at King’s College London since 2015;
• making significant academic progress as the Executive Dean sponsoring expansion of King’s College London’s research portfolio through major awards, including renewal of the Guy’s and St Thomas’ Biomedical Research Centre, the British Heart Foundation Centre, Doctoral Training Centres and Cancer Research UK’s London Major Cancer Centre.
