We invite you to the KHP Cardiovascular & Respiratory Partnership Programme's Primary Care Short Course on Chronic Cough. The main aim of this course is to provide a primary care update on diagnosis, management, and common pitfalls in planning care for patients with chronic cough.
The course will be held virtually via Teams and is open to all, but may be of particular interest to primary care multidisciplinary teams, especially GP Nurses, Pharmacists, and GPs.
Presentation and discussion will be focused on diagnosis, management and experience of living with chronic cough in the primary care setting, guidance on where integrated care might fit in and help, and when to refer to secondary or tertiary care.
Please note that the event will be recorded for educational purposes.

You are invited to the upcoming Patient and Public Involvement/ Engagement (PPIE) Training workshop. This is an in-person event.
By attending this training, we aim for you to be able to:
• Increase understanding of the importance of patient and public involvement in research;
• Brainstorm innovative methods for public involvement at each stage of the research process;
• Develop skills in reporting and evaluating public involvement which can be used in grant applications and publications.
This training workshop will review some of the fundamentals of PPIE as well as provide the opportunity for discussion, asking questions and raising PPIE related challenges. The training will be delivered by King's College London staff and public members and will involve the following overall structure:
1. Presentation on PPIE;
2. Group Case Study Discussion;
3. Workshop Activity.

Event description:
As an NHS England and JACIE accredited CAR-T centre, we at King's College Hospital NHS FT have a sizeable working experience in all aspects, including patient selection, apheresis, vector construct, delivery, monitoring, and short- and long-term complications.
We have an invested and committed focus on teaching and education, delivering state-of-art training modules. We have a holistic CAR-T multidisciplinary team including all stakeholders (haematologists, transplant physicians, specialist nurses, intensivists, neurologists, immunologists, virologists and quality managers) who will be actively involved in teaching on this preceptorship.
Apart from the licensed indications for CAR-T, our CAR-T cell programme includes allogeneic, off the shelf CARs and remains at the vanguard of hosting trials for future generation CARs.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
Delegates will learn all aspects of CAR-T treatment, both clinical and administrative (quality assurance) with the hope that they can actively steer and lead similar programmes in their parent institute. Gaining confidence in all aspects of CAR-T delivery enabling and empowering delegates to be active members on the CAR-T programmes at their hospitals.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Haematologists/Oncologists, Specialist Registrars and Trainees with an interest in CAR-T cell therapy nationally. We welcome participants from new CAR-T centres and as well as staff at existing CAR-T centres.
