Face to face teaching
As well as online learning, Kings Health Partners can design and deliver both credit and non-credit bearing courses as residential courses in the UK and abroad, or by a combination of face to face and online learning (blended learning).
One particular strength of Kings Health Partners education and training portfolio is simulation training. There are several Simulation & Interactive Learning (SaIL) across Kings Health Partners. These are interprofessional undergraduate and postgraduate facilities providing clinical classrooms, and simulations of hospital and community care settings. The range of activities they offer include high fidelity and low fidelity clinical simulation, clinical communication, interprofessional education (IPE), patient educator sessions, peer teaching, deaf awareness and British Sign Language classes. The SaIL centres comprise a large number of flexible rooms and audio-visual linking and recording is easily achieved for further learning and feedback. Self-directed learning space for students also offers additional opportunities for practice. Their faculty consists of academic and clinical teachers as well as a team of technicians and administrative staff.
The simulation centres can be commissioned to design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate bespoke courses to upskill whole healthcare teams.
