Mind & Body Share And Learn Session

This session is designed for colleagues across health, care, and community sectors who are seeking to improve outcomes and reduce premature cancer mortality among people living with SMI. The session will share key learning, findings, and insights from work undertaken by King’s Health Partners and the Southeast London Cancer Alliance in Southeast London, alongside reflections from key colleagues working with us to address inequalities in Early Cancer Detection and Diagnosis.

This share and learn aims to:

• Explore why this matters for improving outcomes for people with SMI
• Highlight key findings and insights from recent work in the region
• Share practical considerations and lessons for organisations undertaking similar improvement work
• Provide resources to support local and regional improvement planning to support Early Detection and Diagnosis of lung cancers for people with SMI
