Healthcare professionals and students are learning about the benefits of integrated mental and physical healthcare through the KHP Mind & Body 'Share and Learn' webinar series.
The hour-long webinars provide knowledge and advice around best practice for attendees who are interested in the delivery and impact of mind and body care.
Learning about integrated care for a range of specialties
Previous sessions have covered a wide range of topics, everything from menopause to asthma care, cardiovascular care, chronic pain, and much more.
All explored with a focus on the role mind and body care can play in treating specific health concerns. Staff and students hear from experts as they reflect on how their specialist area can either support or benefit from the integration of mental and physical healthcare.
Sharing knowledge of effective mind and body care
The KHP Mind & Body programme team also invites colleagues with expertise - whether in clinical practice, policy, innovation, or emerging trends - to share their knowledge as keynote speakers at future share and learn sessions.

Bringing people together to discuss real-life examples
A recent share and learn session which was particularly popular brought together people from across health, care, and community sectors to discuss premature cancer mortality in people living with Severe Mental Illness (SMI).
For this session keynote speakers shared findings from a collaborative project delivered by King’s Health Partners and South East London Cancer Alliance (SELCA). The project looked at inequalities across the lung cancer pathway for people with SMI and the barriers limiting patients from seeking help early.
Attendees and speakers also explored solutions, with discussion around targeted and tailored approaches, with lived experience at the centre of redesigning pathways.
