The latest resources to support healthcare professionals prevent illness and improve outcomes for residents are now available in one central location.

Adopting a prevention approach is vital to reduce avoidable illness and tackle health inequalities. That’s why it’s so important that staff are supported through training and education to make prevention a part of everyday practice, whatever their role.

We’ve created a comprehensive library of the latest prevention training resources on our Future NHS workspace. This includes videos, online courses and toolkits covering the following topics:

  • Foundations of prevention
  • Residents and community
  • Strategic leadership and intelligence
  • Clinical and service-level prevention

NHS staff can access the training by visiting our Future NHS workspace and registering with their @nhs email address. Non-NHS staff will need to send an email request to be granted access.

You can navigate to the training hub by clicking on ‘Prevention training and resources’ on the menu to the left of your screen.

If you’d like to suggest ideas for additional resources and/or join our south east London prevention education group, please contact preventionandequity@kcl.ac.uk
